Review: Polarn O Pyret Clothing
Initial thoughts: I had heard of Polarn O Pyret clothing but never bought any for the children so when I was offered some to review I was really excited to see what we would be sent. When the clothes arrived I was really happy with the bright colours and all items seemed to be of a really good quality. Piran was sent a t-shirt and a pair of sweatshirt trousers and Kate an Elephant long sleeved top and a pair of velour spotty baby trousers.
We liked: These items are all fantastic quality and we have been wearing and washing them for weeks and they look as good as when they arrived. All the items are soft and comfortable, but also warm so they are great for being outdoors as well as our go to items for cosy days indoors.
We didn’t like: The waistband on Piran’s trousers doesn’t lay as flat as it did, I think the elastic inside it a bit twisted. They are generous sizes and the trousers have adjustable waists with ties on the inside of the waistband. This is great for Kate but a bit confusing for Piran, so I don’t tie it up or he wouldn’t be able to manage going to the bathroom on his own.
Overall: These days we are trying to be as careful with our money as possible and these items cost a bit more than I like to pay at the moment. That said, I am sure I would be able to resell such a popular brand and they definitely have a lot of wear in them. The trousers sent for Piran will be perfect for Kate when she is bigger so I will get double wear out of them. With items like this I think the extra money can be worth it and they are by no means excessively priced. You get what you pay for and these are a great quality. Perfect for stomping in the woods and playing Pooh sticks on a bridge.
Further information: Check out the Polarn O Pyret website for some very lovely looking clothes. A quick browse has had me wanting to fill my shopping trolley. Right now they have offers available on selected tops and free P&P this week so it is definitely worth checking out.
Disclosure: We were sent two outfits free of charge for the purpose of this review.
