Snowball fight
Piran has seen snow before and remembers making a snowman last year. However it was Kate’s first time out in the snow and she took it all in her stride as usual.
This year it was all about the snowball fights, the kids from the other houses in our close leading the way and Piran stood on the sidelines watching and trying to pick up the snow. Within a few minutes he was getting closer and closer and once Mr C joined in then all of them were charging around. He got the hang of scooping up the snow for snowballs in his mittens and was good natured when he was hit, even when his Daddy got him right in the face!
Kate thought the idea was to dip your mitten in the snow and then wave it in the air which was the cutest. thing. ever.

Yes, if you check my albums for winter 2010/11 you will see exactly those sort of pictures of Piran. Every year it is like a new experience for them.

They photograph really well but the thing is that they are wearing them in every photo I have taken for months now so I am getting a bit fed up of them!The Gruffalo mittens were perfect in the snow though.
