Create, Live, Write, Yours Truly

January 17, 2014

Well it has been a wet old start to this year hasn’t it? We had power issues over Christmas for around 70 hours, our new sofa was broken when we got it, Piran was ill and everything that we tried to do got spoilt or went wrong in some way so I was glad when it was 2014 finally. The month has started slowly and Mr C has been in Turkey for 2 weeks so I was really glad to get back into the routine of school and nursery. We have missed him like crazy but he will be home later. So today is a good day. He will be away a lot this year though so it is time to think of ways to make me happier and stronger and able to cope with some solo weeks.

Candles and Christmas berries.

Like last year, no resolutions just some intentions. It doesn’t matter if I don’t do them. But they will make my life better if I do. And I need to make sure I am looking after myself this year. There are some on here that were on last year’s list. Lots of new ones.

What a great word to greet each day and end it with. Your writing has me pondering my own word….maybe ‘deeper’. I have a tendency to live on the surface of my life-I need to allow myself to be freer and dig deeper. I have a feeling this will niggle at me in the days ahead!

I think it’s fun having something to ponder like this. And there are so many wonderful words out there to choose from.
