Brrr. November. I love that the first shot has them setting up the fireworks – a big thing in Lewes. It was all a bit grey. College work was taking over and sewing time was really limited in November, so only one visit a week.
From the studio: (Top) My Oakshott blocks finally sewn together and sashed with the perfect fabric – Luminous from Anna Maria Horner, my first sample for college – crazy pathchwork, and another college sample this time learning how to make a piece using fused applique.
(Bottom): Fused applique sample in progress, a crochet star – we decorated the local estate agents window along with other members of the Ringmer Collective, and a crazy patchwork sample made with interfaced pieces of foil.
