Get on up.

December 2, 2006

Things that made me happy on Friday:

The anticipation of getting dressed up and going to the party.
Staying in a hotel with Paul for the first time ever.
Dancing until my feet dropped off.

That was hard because there was just so much. Last night was brilliant! It was a classic work party – cheesey music, dancing, laughter, people passed out in toilets and asleep in corners, men in comedy suits, mutton dressed as lamb and plenty of bad dancing.

Jo Brand was the entertainment! It was crazy, and very strange to see someone so famous sort of up close. It was very funny and rude though which always goes down well. Then they had a band called The Big Kahuna which was great -apart from right at the end when me and two girls from work were dancing near the stage and got dragged up to be backing singers! The title of this post is what I had to sing! It was a laugh though. Then there was a disco – I think I danced for almost two hours solid in the end.

The bad news is that our camera was broken so I couldn’t take any pictures – one of the girls had a camera and I will do my best to get some to post.

The bad news is that I am home in bed and not in London where I am supposed to me. I only had 4 drinks, drank at least two glasses of water for every drink. Ate a large meal. Drank more water before bed and still woke up with a very upset stomach and well, I will not go into details but it spoilt my plans for today.

Sorry people that I was meant to meet from the internet. I am very sorry that I could not make it :o(
