Beth Orton….but not.

Mouldy and I went to see Bath Orton last night at the Dome. I was a little reluctant at first but he really wanted to go so I decided that I would scrape the bottom of my pockets and made the effort. By the time that last night came around I was really looking forward to it.

Unfortunately Ms Orton had to present a Brit Award and then got stuck in a big traffic jam on the A23 (something to do with a burst sewage main).

So all we saw the support band – Clayhill – who were actually really good, had a couple of beers then gave up and went home at about 10.15pm. We were both really gutted as we really needed a good night out but I am going to try and get my money back and then we will do something else nice instead.

Sad, sad February.

He knows who he is and what has happened and he knows that I am thinking of him and his family. Her life was one full of love and lived to the best of anyone’s ability. All I can do is be there with beer and wine and smiles and sweets. My phone is always on sweetie.

It is not the only berevement that I have heard of today. For anyone that has lost someone my heart goes out. I would say that I know how you feel but my Nanna was lucky enough to have lived a full and long life.

Apparently I went on holiday to Verona, Italy. There are almost 100 pictures and plenty stories to tell but the time I had planned to do it has been lost and I can’t do it at the moment. Maybe if work is slow tomorrow. wanting to spend all your free time with a wonderful man doesn’t help. Can blogging and bliss actually mix?

Thursday night’s a great night for dancing.

Tonight we are out on the town. The NME Tour hits Brighton and after the let down last night I am really looking forward to it. Let’s just hope that it’s not full of screaming kids ;o)

If you have the time. Actually, if you don’t, make time.

Please pop over and visit this lovely lady’s blog. She loves those comments so go and make her smile. Spread the love people. She will not be back until Tuesday but when she is she deserves an inbox brimming over with love.

That’s enough.

Well that’s me people. Sorry for the morose tone and the disjointed post. Tomorrow I promise to be back with fun and sunshine. If I can’t manage that you will get a Friday’s Feast and be grateful!!!

There’s no need to hurry on the old holiday recounting: by delaying it a little, you can stretch it out a little longer…

Good for you sending us the way of that lady. You are to be commended for your random act of kindness.
