A little late but…

September 21, 2005

…This is what I did last Sunday!

Saturday night was a fun filled wine and film fiesta with Girlie number 2 and Mablot (more info on the films later! Ohhhh cryptic..) However very surprisingly I woke up bright as a button on Sunday morning and the sun was shining so I decided to get up and out and do three things that make me happy!

So off I went….I walked the three miles into Brighton along the seafront taking photos as I went (number 1!)

First I saw a sign that said CAUTION RUNNERS! Which made me chuckle as as mad as I think joggers are I didn’t think that they would attack or anything. Then I walked along a little bit further and found myself in the middle of a lot of runners.

Here they are…

Then they were off!

Here are some more shots that I took walking along the seafront.

Beach huts

I love the shadows on this one.

This old fashined merry go round is one of my favourite things in Brighton. Except I can’t stay there long as the plinky plinky music drives me insane!

Near to the Brigton Pier they have a display of wooden sculptures – these were some of my favourites.

So after my lovely walk I wandered into town to get a Chai Tea Latte from Starbucks (number 2!)

Then a short walk down to the Royal Pavillions to sit in the gardens on the grass and have a picnic and read the Sunday papers (number 3!)

All in all it was a lovely day. Rounded off by a great meal and a freinds house with all of my great friends and an impromptu trip to one of my favourite pubs! Such a great day, totally and perfectly rounding off a great weekend.

It was nice today too but theres the huge police presence due to the upcoming Labour Party Conference. Look forward to lots of armed police brightening up your day.

    AC – I like it!

Adz – Then come and visit and we shall partake of the beverages and catch up!

John – I will not be going anywhere near town until all those scary politicians have gone back to where they belong!
