My final finish this quarter were these drawsring bags that I made for my SIL as her birthday present. She birthday is actually on Christmas Eve and I always struggle to think of two presents. This year I had wanted to make her something but run out of time. So I decided that I would give her a birthday present on her half birthday – the 24th June.
These are so easy to make and a great gift idea. The tutorial is available on In Color Order but I have actually purchased the pattern which has loads of different sizes from tiny jewellery bags to big laundry bags. She had mentioned that she liked this main fabric ages ago so it was nice to use it in a project for her. I personally love the one that is matched with Sketch in Coral and inside is Kona Seafoam. I might need one for myself actually.
We just asked her to pop in on the way home from work and surprised her with gifts and cake.
This was one of my projects in my Finish Along 2014 – Q2 list.
