Make it: Fair Isle Table Runner

June 22, 2014

Recently I have become part of the Blogging Team over at Simply Solids. I love this online fabric store and I was very excited when they agreed to have me on the team. I will be making and sharing tutorials for them every few months.

My first project was one I was very excited about – making a table runner that I had designed myself using Touchdraw on my iPad. It was a project of many firsts for me – using Essex Linen, Half Square Triangles, my own design. So exciting.

This was my vision:

And this is my completed table runner:

Go and check out the Fair Isle Table Runner tutorial on the Simply Solids blog to see how I made it, and to make your own.

This was one of my projects in my Finish Along 2014 – Q2 list.

That’s brilliant. I’ve not seen Simply Solids or Touchdraw before.

I’m off to investigate both immediately!
