Mid Morning Snack

Name 3 things that you think are strange.

That the pub across the road will not do me a tuna toastie because they do not serve hot fish (although they have fish and chips on the menu!)

People that like Marmite.

What was the last ceremony you attended?

The Christening of my cousin’s baby girl, Madeline.

What is one lesson you have learned in the past year?

That material possessions mean so much less when you are happy.

Main Course
Tell us about one of your childhood memories.

After my parents separated my brother and I lived with my Mum. She worked full time and a couple days a week I used to cook my brother dinner so that we would be ready to go to Guides / Scouts when she got home. One day she told me to make pached eggs in the microwave and she showed me how. When we got home that evening we decided that we would prefer boiled eggs instead so I happily cooked my brother one in the microwave. I dished it up and when he tapped it on the top to break the shell it exploded and egg shell got imbedded in his neck. Needless to say I did not eat mine – just threw it into the gardn and watched the cat freak out as it exploded right next to her!

If you could extend any of the four seasons to be twice as long as normal, which season would you want to lengthen?

Autumn. I love those surprise days where it is really warm and you feel like you have got an extra day of summer. I also love those first days wghere it is cold and wet and blowy and you can wear big warm clothes again and snuggle up. I get bored of it by the end of winter but I do love the way you seem to get both summer and winter rolled into one season.

Oh my God. Egg. Embedded in his neck.

Oh, also, the phrase ‘hot fish’ is gross. Is it a principle thing that they won’t serve hot fish? I don’t understand.

If you would like I can write them a strongly worded letter of complaint?

    “Dear Sirs,

Please give Kelly whatever fish she desires. Hot or cold. Toastied or breaded.

    Thank you.”

    There you go…

    Love the egg story.

I am with you on autumn. I love the colours and the crisp air. Nothing like running in the forest and hearing and smelling the fallen leaves.

    Have a good weekend.

    It’s just plain WRONG.

Is Vegemite just as bad as Promite? As an Aussie, I’m kind of addicted to Vegemite but is that strange too?

    Tuna toasties sound good though!
