March 8, 2014

Take one 2 year old with Chicken Pox.

Add a husband away with work in Germany.

Just for the fun of it, make him a husband STUCK in Germany with Chicken Pox. Not allowed to travel until no longer contagious.

Subtract all chances of a decent sleep. For days and days.

Add in a 4 year old who cannot cope with change and things being different and therefore reacts badly to everything.

Multiply by four dreadful bedtimes / nights.

Divide by the amount of space the 2 year old leaves when sharing my bed.

Multiply by 2 oat baths a day everyday for a week.

Add in some Calpol starting to work at 11.30pm. [See Video evidence here.]

Equals = Me. Broken. Worried. Stressed. Exhausted.

I really should be asleep but I just needed an hour to myself. Here’s hoping we are back to normal by next weekend.

It was definitely very stressful think it’s going to take me a week to get over it. All patients are now better and home which helps!
