Sunday Nights

November 27, 2005

It’s that time of the week again. Sunday night. It is the same every week. I know that I should be winding down, getting ready to go to bed, sorting out stuff for tomorrow. What am I doing? sat in front of the TV watching ‘Hollyoaks Let Loose’ (utter pap) and ignoring the fact that my alarm will be going off at 6.45 tomorrow morning!

It has been quite a nice, chilled out weekend. Girlie number 1 has been in Dorset staying with her mum, so it’s just been Girlie number 2 and me, and she has spent almost the whole weekend in her room! Hungover yesterday and ill today bless her. I have spent the majority of the weekend exactly where I am now, on the sofa!

Friday night was a great night. I had the afternoon off work to do some christmas present shopping and then I met Girlie number 2 and all my old work mates as it was their last day at work. Then I jumped in a taxi and sped across town to meet with my mates from work for a few drinks. It was a really nice evening, great to spend time with the people that I like but don’t get to see every day at work. It was a really fun evening. Only one small problem when Girlie number 2 called to say that she had locked herself out! So I was her knight in shining armour in a white and green taxi and came, let her in, and went straight back! It was weird beingin the pub after 11 when we would usually have been kicked out. Nice though that we didn’t have to try and decide between us all where to go next! I think that I left just before midnight and i have a vague memory of getting myself some chips on the way home and talking the ear off a random guy in the pizza shop across the road!

Saturday involved lots of random tv. Today I read all morning and finished my book then I went for a drive. A bit later Security Guard came over and we watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory which I actually really liked, I wasn’t sure that I would but it really made me chuckle! And now here I am sat on the sofa avoiding the fact that it is Sunday night and I have a really busy week at work all lined up.

I hope you all had a great weekend.

I had a great 4 day weekend and I’m exhausted, but I can not get myself to settle down either.

Shite… you just reminded me how much I miss Hollyoaks! Utter AWESOME pap. I wonder if I can get it here in America anywhere. Do a post and catch me up on everything that’s happened since September 😉

I had a fantastic weekend… of course it couldn’t last and I’m now having the day from hell at work. Is it a Monday thing?
