#theyearinbooks {January}

Along with Laura at Circle of Pine Trees I am planning on reading at least one book a month this year. She has a linky and a button and everything. And a hashtag #theyearinbooks which is very organised and wonderful.

The idea is to blog at the start of the month about the book that you are planning on reading and maybe including how you got on and what you read the previous month. I wouldn’t want anyone to think I was too keen so I am leaving it to the last moment to write this post. However, the good news is I already know that I have succeeded in my quest for a literary January – I managed to read not one but two entire books*.

{January}

Lee Child: A Wanted Man

Rachel Joyce: The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry

So I will be back in a couple days with more on that, and maybe a bit about the audiobooks I have listened to as well. I would like to record them somewhere.

*I used to read on average 3 or 4 books a week before I had children. A WEEK. I miss my head being perpetually in someone else’s world.

    Got to love Lee Child. I have been under the weather this January and already polished off all the Divergent books. You mu7st give them a try they are an easy read. Very hunger games and they are making a movie from them too

      Thank you. It actually ended up as 3 as I downloaded The Rosie Project on my Kobo and read it in 2 days. Totally engrossed!
