Wednesday Mind Hump on a Thursday!

October 27, 2005

This new project is a bit slow starting (which means it will be manic at the end) so I am blog mad this week! It’s Mind Hump time.

Got any plans for this year’s Halloween? Dressing up? Going to a spooky party? Taking the kids out trick or treating? Tell us your plans!

This Halloween we will be making Cornish Pasties and Mulled Cider. Not usual I know but that is what we have planned. When I was a kid I was never allowed to go trick or treating because my mum is religious and thinks it’ evil or something like that. We were going to have a party but G#2 has her parents staying so it’s just the Pasty thing.

What’s the funniest or craziest costume you’ve ever worn for Halloween? If you can’t remember what you wore, you can tell us about a costume you saw someone else wear.

When I was round at Jon’s a few weeks ago I was looking at his photos of a Halloween party that we had 10 years ago. As I was looking at one I remarked that I couldn’t believe someone had gone dressed as a gnome. On closer insection I realised it was me! Too funny, I couldn’t stop laughing for ages! I had wellie boots, dungarees, a hat and a fake beard made of cotton wool! Crazy.

What’s your favorite scary movie?

I don’t like scary movies and I have never really watched them. It’s not that I’m scared I just hate screaming and blood just makes me feel queasy.

What’s your favorite kind of candy?

I go through phases. I love Kit Kats but they are made by Nestle and they are evil so I try not to have them too often. I love the fair trade dark chocolate that you get in Co-Op.

I just bought three bags of KitKats to hand out to trick-or-treaters. You don’t know how hard it is for me not to tear into those bags. LOL.
