Wednesday Mind Hump

October 12, 2005

It is rainy outside and what is better to do on a rainy day than find a new meme to take part in.

So from Blogdrive Insanity we have the Wednesday Mind Hump!

The rules are … THERE ARE NO RULES!

Can you remember where you were in life ten years ago? If you could travel back in time and whisper something to yourself ten years ago, what would it be?

Crikey! 10 years ago I was 17. I was at college doing my A levels and starting to think about which University’s to attend. I was completely flighty, much more interested in flirting and having fun than anything serious.

I think that I would whisper to myself to make the most of those days, to not worry, because everything has a way of turning out ok in the end.

You inherit a large piece of land and decide to build a theme park a la Disneyland, Sea World, etc. What would you name your theme park and what would your mascot be?

I used to have a joke with a boyfriend about ‘Kelly World’. It was just like the real world with subtle differences – like the buses always came early and all people were nice. My mascot would have to be a penguin because I have been obsessed with them for a long, long time.

What would someone absolutely HAVE to know about you if they were considering sharing a room with you?

That I don’t see dirt the same way that other people do. I am untidy but I tend to keep that to the confines of my own room but I always decide things are dirty and need cleaning a couple days after every normal person does!

Oh and that I have the evil PMT.

According to the song White Rabbit, “one pill makes you larger and one pill makes you small”. If you were offered these pills today, which pill would you take and why?

Gosh. What a choice. I think that right now, sat here at my desk at work I would love to be small and sun around on my desk, clambering over the pens like tree trunks, jumping the keys on my keyboard like stepping stones, swimming in people’s drinking water to freak them out.

However if I was outside then I would want to be big because I would walk home, pick up cars with people in and play with them like Tonka Toys and laugh at all the small people. I would hate to be small outside because bugs would be big.

I think I would choose to be big. Then I wouldn’t have to work anymore. I could just say, “I’m big. Give me money.”
